Get your papers Straight
Make sure your passport is valid. Some countries require that it be valid for longer than your intended stay. Talk to us about any visas that may be required.
Many airlines are charging for checked baggage so you’ll thank yourself if you travel light. If you do travel with heavy baggage, choose a suitcase with wheels. Pack items that you dare not lose (medication, cameras, etc) in your carry-on bag in case your luggage goes astray.
Carry on Baggage
Any liquids in your carry-on bag must be in containers of 100ml (3 oz.) or less. For complete list of permitted and non-permitted items go to www.catsa.gc.ca.
Respect the power of the sun’s rays and use a good sunblock.
Be energy conscious wherever you go. Turn off the lights in your hotel room when you leave. Take a canvas bag or a backpack when you shop to minimize your need for paper or plastic bags.
Travelling with pets?
Not all airlines will take pets, some will but only seasonally. Not all accommodation will allow pets in the room. Plan ahead to avoid problems.
